Device permissions
Use iOS or Android Settings to allow or deny location, camera, photo, and notification permissions. FishingHQ requests location only while you use a feature that needs it and does not request background location. You can deny location and select a water manually, although nearby features will be limited. FishingHQ processes photos only when you select them for a visual feature.
AI-assisted features
You choose whether to submit prompts or selected photos to an AI-assisted feature. FishingHQ does not use prompts, selected photos, or AI-generated responses to train models and does not opt in to AI-provider model training. AI providers may retain and process inputs and outputs for service operation, safety, abuse prevention, troubleshooting, or legal compliance under their terms. Do not submit passwords, payment details, government identifiers, or other sensitive information.
Access or correct account information
Update available profile information inside FishingHQ. For information that cannot be updated in the app, email fishinghqapp@gmail.com from the address associated with the account and describe the access or correction requested. FishingHQ may require a safe account-verification step.
Delete the FishingHQ account
While signed in, use Settings → Account → Delete Account. If you cannot access the app, follow the public deletion instructions. Verified in-app deletion begins immediately, and FishingHQ targets completion of app-managed deletion within 30 days after any additional verification. Limited transaction, security, fraud-prevention, dispute, or legal records may remain when required.
Subscriptions are separate
Deleting an account does not cancel Apple App Store or Google Play billing. Manage or cancel the subscription through the applicable store before renewal.
